Letter from the JCTS Editor
Dear colleagues,
How do you stay up to date with the literature? What if there was an easier way to keep up with your area of science? I am delighted to share just such an incredible opportunity with you.
By regularly reviewing for JCTS, not only can you stay abreast of new developments, you also have an opportunity to engage in the science and improve the learnings for our community. Our reviewers help to maximize the validity of information shared in our journal while simultaneously staying informed about cutting edge advances. Why wouldn’t you want to be a part of this?
Of course, we are all busy and overcommitted to our work, our families, and our communities. Yet I argue that is precisely the reason to become an active reviewer. Imagine doing one thing that checks a whole bunch of boxes on that to do list: stay up to date, improve the science, identify collaborators, add lines to a CV, learn about writing and dissemination, provide opportunities for training scholars in reviewing, and more.
If you are interested in reviewing for JCTS, please let us know. If you are interested but you don’t know where to start, we are here to help – just reach out to jcts@cambridge.org.
Yours,
Chris Lindsell, PhD
